By looking closely, almost nose to nose with the rocks, you will be able to view small crustaceans as well as the small blenny which features a sharp dorsal fin and prefers to hide in the small caves. Further from shore, you will be able to snorkel through a field of sea grass which offers marvelous opportunities for viewing a large number and variety of sea creatures. Because of its isolation, the bay is not heavily used, which can make for a tremendous advantage if you hate having to bump into other snorkelers, but it is also rather difficult to reach with a somewhat long and arduous motor trip. Although Corsica does have an entirely different character than the tropical islands of the Caribbean, its location south of France in the Mediterranean Sea gives one a unique and enjoyable type of snorkeling.
